Happy St. Patrick's Day

Happy St. Patrick's Day! With Kelley being my maiden name, St. Patrick's Day is one of my favorite celebrations during the school year. This year, we created our own community called "Tater Town". We had a feeling that mischievous little Leprechaun may try and visit, so we created traps to attempt to capture him. We faithfully plotted his travels from Ireland across the Atlantic Ocean through the Gulf of Mexico and up the mouth of the Mississippi River straight to our classroom at North Live Oak in Watson. That leprechaun was so sneaky and mischievous!  He avoided all of our traps. We were shocked to see how he tumbled over chairs and scattered our things all over the room. He made such a mess, but we were very happy that he left us gold and chocolate coins. Continuing our celebration, we made green milkshakes. We decided to add an "O" to the beginning of our names. It was funny to call each other by our new names. Wishing you a Happy Spring!
